Removal of Course Sites for terms prior to AY2015-2016 - Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have paused the removal of content from the system since 2020, but on Friday, May 27, 2022, OIT's LMS team will remove all course sites from semesters prior to Fall 2015. This action will return us to our standard protocol of leaving content available in Blackboard for 7 years.  If you require access to courses and/or materials that have been removed from Blackboard, please contact us at blackboard@princeton.edu and we will be happy to temporarily restore that data to Blackboard for you.

BLACKBOARD IS IN ARCHIVE MODE: 

As of July 2, 2021, Princeton's Blackboard environment is in Archive Mode.  The system will remain in this state until June 30, 2024, after which it will go offline permanently.   While Blackboard is no longer available for teaching, Princeton University students, faculty, and staff will continue to have archival access to the last seven academic years of courses on Blackboard, through June 2024.   For more information on what can and cannot be done in the Archive environment, please see this Knowledge Base article  Blackboard: Blackboard Archive Mode.  For information regarding migrating content from Blackboard to Canvas, please see this Knowledge Base article - Blackboard: Portability, Packaging, and Archiving of Blackboard content and sites.   Should you have questions or need assistance, please email us at blackboard@princeton.edu
