OUTAGE:  A wide range of University computing systems,will be unavailable on Saturday, August 5.  The outage will run from 3:00 AM to 11:00 PM and will allow the Office of Information Technology and Facilities to upgrade critical equipment and conduct preventive maintenance. The outage will affect numerous systems including PeopleSoft, Princeton Prime, the Princeton Information Warehouse, and most systems that require authentication through the Central Authentication Service or PUAccess.

Since Blackboard is accessed though the Central Authentication Service, it will be unavailable during this outage.

MOBILE APPS

Blackboard Instructor is the initial version of a mobile application that allows you to preview course items, assignments, and tests; participate in discussions; send announcement; and interact with your class in Blackboard Collaborate (web conferencing). More functionality to come.

Bb Grader allows instructors to grade student assignment submissions on iPad2+ and iPad mini running on iOS 7 or above.
