Extended Blackboard Outage: Blackboard will be unavailable from 5:00 AM, Saturday June 6 through Thursday, June 11, as we move our Blackboard servers to a managed hosting environment and upgrade to the latest release. While this is an unprecedentedly long outage, it is unavoidable, and in the long run will enable us to manage Blackboard more effectively and efficiently. Should this prove to be a hardship in effectively managing your course or organization sites during this outage, contact blackboard@Princeton.EDU and we will help you with a work-around. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience this may cause.
STUDENTS: Can't find your grades in a course site? If there is no My Grades link in the Tools area, your instructor has made it unavailable.
STUDENTS: Once your Princeton netID account has been closed, you will only have access to Blackboard as a "Guest," meaning you will be able to view little more than syllabi and course descriptions. Unfortunately, there is no way to mass package files from Blackboard to take with you. It is best not to think of Blackboard as a storage space where files can be downloaded. You will have submitted files from your computer to Blackboard, so make sure that you are backing up your computer and saving your intelectual property in a place where you can reference them later.
